“Eva Marie “Amy” Tujeehut-Suriel was born on September 8, 1961.
Amy began playing basketball at the age of 14 with the Dragons, winning championships in Curaçao and the Netherlands Antilles.
She also played volleyball with the University and Xaverian teams between 1983 and 1985, winning championships in Curaçao and the Netherlands Antilles.
Amy started practicing Taekwondo in 1980 and achieved a black belt in 1982. She remained active until 2007, winning various Poomse tournaments and international competitions.
