1964-1967: National champion in 100 and 200-meter breaststroke as a member of the swimming club “Sithoc” under the direction of Benny Leito.
1967-1970: Champion in 100 and 200-meter athletics as a member of the “Olympic” Athletics Club under the direction of Wendell Prince and Anthony Minguel.
1968: Gold medalist in 100 and 200 meters at the Kingdom Games held in Paramaribo.
1968-1970: Sprint champion in 100 and 200 meters as a member of the Police Sports Association (P.S.V) under the police force.
1968-69-70: Basketball champion in Curaçao as a member of the Olympic team (St. Thomas College).
1971-1973: Basketball champion in Aruba as a member of the RITZ team.
1972: Athlete of the Year in Aruba.
1973-1974: Member of the basketball team “Beverly Hills” in the professional league in Caracas, Venezuela.
1975-1979: Played basketball and participated in athletics at the University of North Carolina, winning the ACC championship four times and reaching the NCAA Finals twice.
