Enith Brigitha began practicing the sport of swimming at the age of 9. At the age of 12, she successfully represented Curaçao in swimming competitions within the Kingdom, earning a silver medal.
At the age of 15, Enith won a gold medal for Curaçao in the Kingdom Games of 1970. In 1971, she earned her first gold medal for the Netherlands in a competition between the Netherlands and Germany in Cologne, Germany. In the final classification of the XX Olympic Games in 1973 in Munich, Germany, Enith ranked among the top 8 female swimmers in the world.
Enith won 2 silver and 2 bronze medals for the Netherlands in the first World Swimming Championship in 1973 in Belgrade, Czechoslovakia. In the XXI Olympic Games of 1976 in Montreal, Canada, Enith competed for the Netherlands, winning 2 bronze medals.

Female Athlete of the Year 1973, awarded by the Dutch Sports Association of the Kingdom.
Female Athlete of the Year 1975, awarded by the Dutch Sports Association of the Kingdom.
Honorary Member of the Royal Dutch Swimming Federation.

Zij werd in 1992 opgenomen in de Fame Hall of Fame.
Enith Brigitha begon op 9-jarige leeftijd met zwemmen. Op 12-jarige leeftijd vertegenwoordigde zij Curaçao succesvol in de zwemcompetitie op de Koninkrijksspelen, waar zij een zilveren medaille won.
Op 15-jarige leeftijd wint Enith een gouden medaille voor Curaçao op de Koninkrijksspelen van 1970.
In 1971 wint Enith haar eerste gouden medaille voor Nederland tijdens de wedstrijd tussen Nederland en Duitsland in Keulen-Duitsland. Tijdens de kwalificatieronde voor de 20e Olympische Spelen van 1973 in München, Duitsland, behoort Enith tot de 8 beste vrouwelijke zwemmers ter wereld.
Enith won 2 zilveren en 2 bronzen medailles voor Nederland tijdens de eerste Wereldkampioenschappen Zwemmen in 1973 in Belgrado-Tsjechoslowakije. Tijdens de 21e Olympische Spelen van 1976 in Montreal, Canada, kwam Entih uit voor Nederland en won twee bronzen medailles.
