For several years, Mr. Ricardo Elhage served as the head of the “Bureau Nederlandse Antillen Sportaangelegenheden” and was the “Minister of Education, Sports, Culture, and Recreation of the Netherlands Antilles.”
Mr. Ricardo Elhage was actively involved in the practice of basketball and baseball.

His most significant sporting achievement is the establishment of the “Tio Daou Ballpark.”
Mr. Ricardo Elhage served as the president of NAOC, NABAFE, and FEBEKO, and was also a member of IBA, ODECABE, and COPABE.
Currently, Mr. Ricardo Elhage is the president of the Santa Rosa Indians Baseball Club and the Tio Daou Ballpark Foundation.
